Convocatorias Perdidas

Dos dibujos realizados para convocatorias que no fueron seleccionados, pero aquí están de todos modos.
Two drawings made for contest that were not selected, but here they are.
 

El primero fué para la convocatoria de Revista Göoo de Argentina con el tema "el universo". Es una imagen que tenía en mi cabeza por un par de años y que ya había realizado anteriormente con menos éxito. Tomó alrededor de 15 horas de trabajo.
First one was for the Göoo Magazine contest with the topic "the universe". I´ve had this image in my head for a couple of years and had already done before with less success. It took about 15 hours.

 El segundo fue para un concurso de Dark Horse Comics de dibujar el personaje de uno de mis comics favoritos "The Goon" de Eric Powell, una de mis mayores inspiraciones. Tomó alrededor de 5 horas de trabajo.

The second was for a Dark Horse Comics contest to draw the character of one of my favorite comic books "The Goon" by Eric Powell, one of my biggest inspirations. It took about five hours of work.

Las convocatorias son un pretexto perfecto para ponerse a trabajar. No se puede ganar siempre, pero se aprende de todo.

Contests are a perfect excuse to get to work. You can´t allways win, but you learn from everything.
